Rock City Eatery is culinary innovation. Opened in October 2013 in Hamtramck they have been serving diverse culinary creations with a focus on staying ahead of the trends. The owner, Anthony Sanchez, believes the Midwest is behind on the food scene. He came and opened up shop in Detroit because he wanted to change that. Seeking inspiration from Brooklyn, N.Y., Spain and France he keeps his constantly changing menu fresh and innovative. The menu contains items that you will not find anywhere else in the Midwest. He believes Detroit is the place to open a restaurant because of the affordable rent, eager crowds and the ability to diversely source ingredients. According to Anthony, “Business is doing good.
